Evaluation Services

CWCMH offers a variety of specialized evaluations on a time available basis including:
  • mental health disability evaluations
  • evaluations related to child placement
  • court-ordered evaluations
  • vocational evaluations
  • psychiatric evaluations
  • determination if voluntary or involuntary hospitalization is necessary

Evaluation services determine if an individual has mental health needs requiring treatment and, if indicated, develop a recommended course of treatment. A clinician assesses an individual's medical and mental health history, current mental health status, and determines if the person should be admitted to clinical services at CWCMH or referred elsewhere in the community. Multi-disciplinary teams meet regularly to design the best course of treatment for individuals seeking services at CWCMH.
