Outpatient Therapy Services
CWCMH provides evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, adults and seniors experiencing a broad spectrum of behavioral or emotional problems.
Services offered by CWCMH clinicians include:- individual, couple, family, and group therapy
- chemical dependency, with special emphasis on the mentally ill, chemically abusing or dependent (MICA) client
- behavioral assessment, therapy, and case management for children
- services to nursing homes and their residents
- therapy and case management services in home and community settings
- parent training, including the Strong Families Program
- consultation with school personnel, medical professionals, social service staff, and other community organizations
- accessing appropriate treatment
- coordinating treatment with other providers
- monitoring clients and stabilizing individual's psychiatric symptoms
- helping clients obtain income and medical assistance, housing, employment, and/or transportation
- providing clients social and living skills training
- assisting with other day-to-day activities
